OUR VISION
Gboea "Bway" Flumo is a spoken word artist, youth development mentor, and founder of SpoQUEEN, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering middle and high school girls through mentorship, emotional expression, leadership development, and spoken word.
With over 10 years of professional spoken word experience and mentoring youth within schools and community programs, Gboea has created impactful programming designed to help girls build confidence, develop self-worth, strengthen leadership skills, and embrace the power of their voices.
Inspired by her own experience participating in a school based mentoring program as a student, Gboea founded SpoQUEEN with the vision of creating emotionally safe and culturally responsive spaces where girls feel seen, heard, supported, and empowered.
Through workshops, mentorship groups, curriculum development, and school partnerships, Gboea continues working to build sustainable support systems that help girls thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and personally.
